Be sure to look for the silver nameplate that has the serial number. Pay attention to details, like the quality and workmanship – especially the stitching. If you can touch the bag in person, it should be very lightweight and never stiff. The goat’s leather that Balenciaga uses for it’s bag is a bit shiny and really holds up over time (the bags get better with age). If a bag looks really, really worn with signs of age – it may not be authentic! Because of the last two points, when a bag will slouch a bit while setting, like any good leather would. The Coach Purse Heritage is a new designer handbag for 2008. These are soooo nice, I’m shopping for one right now as I type this! If you have always liked the Coach Optic designs (like me) than you are probably really tired of seeing every tenth woman with the same old brown optic bag with “c’s” all over it everywhere in town! There are also a ton of imposters and knockoff ripoffs about now as well. This Heritage design I’m sure was designed to put that problem to rest by making the Coach logo prominent on the side of the bag – in addition to adding a spash of smart heavy vinyl color, making it more durable than ever (and eye-catching!). They also have clutch’s for sale in the same design!
